EDUARDO VALLEJO PINTO.

Choreographer, performer, producer. Ogmia’s Artistic Director.

Eduardo Vallejo, a director and choreographer from Asturias, Spain, has built his professional career in classical and contemporary dance across various European and Middle Eastern institutions. In addition to his dance training, he has enriched his expertise in martial arts, visual arts, photography, and dramaturgy.

In 2018, he founded Batbox Productions, a platform that has allowed him to carry out his own artistic projects. The following year, in 2019, he established his company Ogmia, which has received support and residencies from significant institutions such as the National Dance Company, the Choreographic Center Canal, the Canal Theater, the Forest Theater, INAEM, the Community of Madrid, the City Council of Madrid, among others.

With his first creation with Ogmia, titled “No Time to Rage,” Eduardo has been nominated in four categories for the MAX Awards: best dance show, best choreography, best male performer, and best musical composition for a stage show. He was also selected for Think Big residencies, where he created a piece premiered at TANZtheater International Hannover in 2021. That same year, he received three awards at the Masdanza Festival, including the Audience Award for the best solo.

In 2022, he premiered “Mother Tongue”, his third creation, at the 37th International Madrid en Danza Festival and was selected with the same piece for the International Dance Festival and Choreographers Competition organized by Tanzplattform Bern 2023. That same year, he presented his work at the Quinzena de Dança de Almada – International Dance Festival.
